Welcome back to the Manor! We have a very special guest for today: Darin Wall, bassist and founding member of the heavy metal band Greyhawk! The formed in 2016 in Seattle, Washington, USA and have released an EP and an LP that will cause involuntary headbanging. If you like fantasy themed metal, with wizards/dragons/gems of power/more, then this band is for you.
The interview was so excellent that it went longer than any of us expected, so we're putting this out in two parts. The first is more musical, with us discussing background, history, releases, and more. The second part will come out in November (due to October being our spooky Halloween themed month), where we'll get into some really fun stories.
Unlike most of our episodes, very little was edited here. Our interview with Darin is as-is, with the only edits and outtakes being from Jody and I before and after talking to Darin. James listened through a couple times, to see where things could be trimmed, but it was going to be so little that we decided to give the interview itself as it happened! So yeah, there may be an instance or two of silent contemplation, but very little at that.
So pour yourself a west coast IPA and enjoy!
