Welcome to Thanksgiving at the Manor! Pull up a chair and get ready to dig into popcorn, toast, and jelly beans (which is something we'll talk about next year -- foreshadowing, dun dun dun!). I wonder what goes better with that repast, stout or mead? Guess we'll have to find out within the next 365 days.
But we digress (sorry for the tangent). This year we're talking about the Arlo Guthrie song that's played every year on classic rock stations (and formerly on current rock stations when, you know, the songs were current), "Alice's Restaurant." We talk about the song, it's story, and a wee bit of context, so get ready to drink with us!
Next week's episode is about a certain move that could be either for Halloween or for Christmas, so we're putting it out just after Thanksgiving. That's who we are... MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Welcome back to the Manor! Enjoy a special extra mid-week Halloween season episode. Last year, Jody and I went to a wonderful place called Doughnuts and Dragons, where we played a spooky card game called Gloom and also enjoyed tasty doughnuts and wonderful brews. We saved the episode for this Halloween season.
It is the last of our live recordings and was taken on James' phone, so much like the other live shows, it's not the best quality, but we still enjoyed doing it.
Next episode comes out Friday and is on the 200th anniversary of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," by Washington Irving.
