Welcome back to the Led Zeppelin fanboy podcast! We're still on the Brown Bomber album (II) and we're actually talking about the album: production, engineering, locations, and more!  (We'll get into the actual songs next time.)

A special wish for John Paul Jones to have a happy birthday!  He turns 74 today (January 3rd, 1946). Also, Jimmy Page will be 76 in less than a week (January 9th, 1944).  Huzzah!

Episode 075 -- Christmas Ghost Stories (Yule 2019 episode)

Continuing our annual Christmas ghost story theme!  We hope you enjoy M.R. James (it's the 100th anniversary of his story "The Story of a Disappearance and an Appearance) and Neil Gaiman (it's the 30th anniversary of "Nicholas Was..." We certainly did.  Plus, you get some context.  Context!  Context of the era in which M.R. James was writing.  Plus some more expounding on Jerome K Jerome's work that we mentioned last year, including why you should start smoking your pipe more often.  So light your pipe and pour your pint (or perhaps just a nice glass of whiskey punch) and let's get our Christmas scare on.

Episode 072 -- Happy Thanksgiving from the Terrors!

Just a bit of thanksgiving fun where we talk about sharing alcohol (and when we don't) and give a few shout-outs to our listener locations around the world (recorded a bit ago, so we'll have to update this soon!), as well as other little tidbits of jocular fun.

Yes, we know Thanksgiving is almost a week away.  Better 666... sorry, I meant 6... days early than 1 day late.

(This came from a longer recording where we were quite tipsy at the start and it got progressively worse.  One of the most fun to record and one of the worst from which to get anything useful.  If you want the whole episode, we'll set up a Patreon page. Lol!)

Episode 069 -- Hallowed, the beer, the song, and All Hallows Day (Maiden beer series episode 4)

Welcome back to the Manor!  Sadly October Country is on the far side of our fields, but we do get to at least discuss things of interest.  Beer and metal!  We get into Iron Maiden's beer series with Hallowed and talk about the beer (this particular one and the general style), the song, and the Catholic holy day of obligation, the Solemnity of All Saints, better known as All Hallows Day, the day from which we get Halloween (because the church ripped off the pagans -- we talk about that, too!).
